A ground plane you will want to be a part of
Reimagining the urban landscape
EY Centre was created with the goal of contributing beauty, energy and activity to the surrounding urban landscape. The strategy behind its ground plane is to invite the city community in – revitalising the nearby laneways with high-quality retail, creative spaces, landscaping, integrated seating, heritage interpretation and public art. This includes retail tenancies that are set to diverse range of services on both George and Underwood Streets.
Avenue on George - a contemporary bistro style restaurant with a New York loft sensibility, serving modern Australian/Italian cuisine. Open 7am to 5pm Monday to Friday for takeaway only during this time.
Alleyway - a laneway rum and wine bar featuring a distinctive and sophisticated fit out, featuring black, copper and dark timber. Closed until further notice.
Dutch Smuggler - a specialty coffee and artisan café nestled between the Crane Place Stair’s archaeological artefact displays and the Pocket Park, this ethical cafe focuses on sustainably sourced, specialty coffee as well as fresh, healthy salads, artisan sandwiches and delicious treats, all locally sourced and made. Open 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday for takeaway only during this time.
